Farbod Azsan is a writer and translator active in the field of literature and humanities. He holds a Master of Arts in English Literature, with a research focus on literary theory and genre fiction. Farbod applies his deep understanding of storytelling and cultural analysis to his role as a content producer for Polydin Studio, covering topics from game design to industry analysis.

Project Story

“The Berserk” short film is a tribute to Kentaro Miura for his dedication to the well-received manga with the same name. Inspired by the legacy of Berserk, Altura Creations and Polydin Studio began collaborating on making this 13-minute short film in Unreal Engine 5.

In 2021 we prepared the screenplay and storyboards of this motion picture. We oversee creating concepts, designing the characters, and making the environment props.

We consider ourselves die-hard Berserk fans, we took this project with our hearts. The sudden death of the manga artist was devastating enough, especially since the manga was left undone. We would like to deliver a respectful and loyal take of what we believe is a masterpiece the world might not come across for a long time. We’ll make sure this ongoing project turns into something that deserves to carry the name of the Berserk.
